Wild Strawberry

Did you know that the wild strawberry is a member the rose family
and grows to the hightof eight inches tall.The beautiful fragrant
strawberries begin to develop in June.They have a fleshy outer
skin that contains the plants actual fruits and has tiny yellow seeds.
The plants origin is in North America and may also be found in the
wooded,slopes and clear-cut areas in Europe. The wild strawberry has
a gentle,astringent properties of the leaves,offers relief from
diarrhea and other digestive upsets. Always use freshly dried leaves
for tea.
